Commentary on the Sept. 17, 2019 arrest of the Los Angeles LGBT activist after two men died in his apartment, and a third came close, when Buck injected them with large doses of crystal meth. The situation shined a long overdue light onto the epidemic of crystal meth abuse among a large minority of gay men--an estimated 1 in 4 in major US cities--and the predatory intergenerational drugs-for-sex exchanges that can end badly.
